What’s all this then?

If I’m known for anything, it’s fonts—including some popular ones, like Proxima Nova. But before I was making fonts for a living, I was an illustrator, graphic designer, cartoonist, and lettering artist.

The home for all my font work is www.marksimonson.com. But this website is a place I can share my other work and interests, things completely unrelated to my work as a type designer.

I have in the past posted about some non-font topics on my font website, but I’ve decided that they should have a separate home. I’m not selling anything here*. My main aim is to just share things I’m interested in, and which I hope will interest you.

For now, it’s just my caricature work, which I resumed doing in the summer of 2023. If things go the way I hope, I’ll be sharing other kinds of things, like my activities in retro computing, drawing and cartooning, animation, model-making, Lego, and anything else that seems to fit.

* Some people have asked about getting prints of my caricatures. At some point I may offer those at cost.
